I was quite impressed with my experience with Split Enz hair salon in Greymouth when I went for a haircut sometime in October 2019. I enjoyed the chit chat from the lady who was cutting my hair. She gave me her full attention during my visit not that I would have minded because someone had to tend to the counter each time a customer came in.
Split Enz is on the corner of Tainui and Guinness Street; so well hidden that you would not know it exists if you are a visitor to the town driving around looking for a place to get a haircut. Easiest way to find Split Enz is to go to the Unichem Pharmacy and ask for directions.
Split Enz are open at 8 or 8.30am and close at 5pm but Wednesday and Thursday nights are late closing days with the salon closing at 7PM. On Saturday, it is open from 9AM to 1PM.
